    Who here would try this?

This is pretty cool fashion technology, I guess, but I'm not sure I'd be willing to take it for a test drive...

My favorite line: "I shoot all my employees..."

I would if I wasn't the first one. To clarify that further, the others would have had to live.

Seems it would be a bit like bungee jumping -- every fiber of your being says "No, this isn't right -- don't do it!" but the little part of your brain that wants to be able to say "I did it" wins out...

One of Jeff Foxworthy's stories is about getting the length right for the first bungee jumper. "Uh oh, that's too bad, give his wife a free T shirt."

IMO, this is "hold my beer and watch this" times 100. Every bit as much scientific benefit could be gained from testing on dummies (real dummies, not the ones who are acting as test subjects).

Amen! But of course, this little stunt was all for journalistic effect.

I don't know much about guns but I understand physics. It seems to me that although a .38 caliber bullet has a larger diameter than the .30-06 rifle slugs I own, the charge that powers it is smaller and the bullet itself probably has a smaller mass. So the question becomes, how effective would that suede jacket be against my weapon of choice.

Your answers are vitally important, because if elk start buying this guy's clothing, I'm going to have a tough time filling LOML's outstanding order for wild game.
