I guess as a general contractor, he just has to know people that can do things the right way. I have heard him ask questions of craftsmen on his shows that I would be embarrased to ask then try to embellish the answers and demonstrate his lack of knowledge.

I remember when he guest starred on a show called Home Improvement. He played himself and they made him out to be a guru that knew everything from home to car repair. I just couldn't help chuckling.
