    I have been saved...

    ...from financial ruin. Evidently, and unbeknownst to me, I had fallen victim to one of the many Nigerian scams. Not to worry, though, I received this wonderful news via e-mail yesterday. The United Nations has emerged as my savior!

        Hmm... is their English getting better or worse? I'm sure they used 'modalities' because it sounded fancy, but in the words of Inigo Montoya "You keep on using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means".

        Also, nice touch using a 'Reverend' as the contact although if he really worked for the U.N. he'd probably rate one of their email addresses as opposed to having to use Gmail.

          Thanks for posting this - I see they are inviting other victims like me who did not receive their mail; maybe I can get your share too, now that your phone is not functioning...

          I think there's more to this - the bank is called Oceanic; wonder if they have 815 employees...
