    Latest Project

My aunt paid me to make a box for my uncle for his birthday at the end of the month. She bought him a watch for their anniversary and she wanted something nice that he could set on his dresser and keep the watch in, kind of a little mens valet.
    So......here was the results..

      That's very sharp!

How did you do those dovetail details?

        Wow!

I'm sure you love your aunt a lot - she could not have paid you enough for that!

That box is stunning. I love the detail on the dovetails and would like to know how it was done too. I know how I would do it, but there is probably a simpler way.

Do you have an Incra dovetailing jig? I've seen that design on Woodpeckers site.

incra it was. The box is made from curly maple (which they had given me) and walnut. It is out of the incra project book, but I changed the lid a bit. I am really happy with the results. Thanks everyone.

Gorgeous. I'll bet it impressed more than the watch.

Very nice! Those dovetails are ultra cool. I like the handle on the lid, too.
