    QSHELL "find" command?

I hope one of you IT gurus can help

How can I stop "Find" from scanning sub-directories?

eg /xxxx only, NOT including /xxxx/yyyy

    I'm guessing it's how I specify the path - but I don't know how - believe me I've tried

    Please help...

I'm not familiar with it but can how about using ls instead?
    Something like:
    ls /SOMEDIRECTORY/*.txt

      At the qshell prompt type:

      man find

that should give you the man pages for the find command. I had to google to find out that qshell is a unix-style shell for iSeries. Very interesting.

          Thanks guys.

I'm still trying... (Giving thanks to Google!)

"man find" doesn't work on iSeries -AND- iSeries has undocumented options .

I should also have said I have never "worked" with Unix
