    I have no problems functionally with either my Lexmark wireless all-in-one or my HP all in one. Neither gets used a lot but they probably both print or copy something nearly every week. Both are ink-jets.

    I don't remember the brand of my wireless phone but it only causes a problem if I let both handsets get depleted at the same point. They both will hold a charge several days to a week.

    Seems like you are having bad luck.

      They don't actually measure the amount of ink in the cart, they estimate the amount left based on the number of dots shot on to the paper.
