    We were going to take the kids to Orlando between XMas and New Years this year but just couldn't get away due to work.

    Glad it worked out like this. Woulda been pretty disappointed in those temps.

        Today's high will be 42, although blowing winds that could reach up to 15 mph may make it feel as though it's in the mid-20s. Tonight, look for temperatures to drop to about 25.
        That still sounds balmy compared to our weather.

          I saw sleet yesterday, but no snow or flurries. Anytime the temps go this low, many people here "see" snow, but then again, anytime a comet is in the sky, people here see little green men...

          What is interesting is the scarcity at the moment of any thermal undies or space heaters in the stores hereabouts.

              Maybe things are getting better ... I got the temp in our old house up to about 62deg today!

                  I remember going to a convention in Orlando in Feb. Coming back to Boise everyone razzed me about being in tropical Florida in Feb. My answer to them was; "Yeah, it was great if you don't mind temps in the 50's, rain and cold wind!"
