    Awesome WOOD book

Hi there folks, been off for a while and out of the shop as I did my back in just after thanksgiving and havent been able to lift anything much heavier than a beer

I just finsihed reading one of my Christmas presents which was a totally awesome book called A Splintered History of Wood by Spike Carlsen. No plans or projects in sight but a highly enjoyable read all about one of our favorite materials and without which our tool addictions would be for naught!

I did also get Doug Stowes box making book (Taunton) so there will be more boxes in my future

Happy New Year to you all.

Thanks, I hope to get in there next weekend. Its still rather cold in there, at least for Phoenix. First thing in the morning its about 45 but it will warm up to the 60s. I know thats not the sub freezing that some of you must put up with but dang I have to wear a sweater in the shop
