    Gloves for finishing

I generally like to use wipe-on poly for finishing and my last gloves, latex, did very little to keep the poly off my hands. Same problem with stain.

What gloves do you use / suggest for finishing work? Thank in advance for your help.
    Chas

Thanks everyone. Nitrile was the overwhelming suggestion so that was what I went with. Uncle Cracker, thanks for the HF coupon link

I had the same problem and someone suggested using vinyl. That solved the problem for me. They were cheap at HF.

Second the nitrile. Solvents will penetrate latex.

+1. The yellow gauntlet Playtex dish washing gloves work pretty good. Wife picks them up at the grocery store.

I use the nitrile ones too. I get them free from a volunteer fireman/first responder I know. For heavier jobs I use the dishwashing type gloves.

                  Blue Nitrile.

                  If you're near a Costco, two boxes of 100 @ $10.00.

                  Love them

Nitrile from Harbor Freight for me. They are tough enough I use them multiple times. They also had some extra large when they were on sale last and the actually fit! Usually I can only find large which will work but don't really fit.

I see HF has the blue nitriles in 3 different sizes on sale right now, box of 100 for 5.99 (half price). Here's a link to the coupon...

Both Harbor Freight, but I use the vinyl ones for general protection, the nitrile ones when I need more of a feel for what I'm doing.
