          Beautiful. I wonder what old George Frideric would have thought...

          Hard to believe Handel wrote the entire Messiah Oratorio (not just the Hallelujah Chorus) in only 24 days!

          Many years ago, I was privileged enough to be part of a 1400-voice choir, with professional soloists and orchestra, to perform the entire work. I still get goosebumps when I think of that night.

              When I was in High School and belonged to the All City Choir, from the 4 high schools in the city we preformed the Messiah every year at Christmas. We packed the Auditorium down town for 4 nights. When we did the Hallelujah Chorus everybody in the audience stood in respect.
