    Sound like that is his wife who was taken out by ambulance--I hope she is OK.

    Apparently the neighbor who found Tiger and provided first aid told the cops he thought Tiger had been drinking. The PD tried to subpoena hospital blood tests (presumably BAL) but were turned down. There is also a report he was admitted as an overdose.

    I like Tiger as a golfer and competitor, but it sure seems like he got a special deal there. If you or I were in a similar situation, what is the chance the police wouldn't test us for alcohol or drugs?

    I also don't buy this Ambien and Vicodan crap. There are 2 reasons people use intoxicants: for medical reasons (pain, insomnia), and to get high. Either way they SHOULDN'T BE DRIVING!

      Putting aside the issues of marriage vows, fidelity and faithfulness for the moment, why would anyone with as much as he has to lose risk it stupidly like that?
      LOML's theory is that Tiger's wife is busy raising the two kids and may not be devoting enough time to her husband. I think it's also a matter that the way to a man's heart is not necessarily through his stomach.

        My wife is raising two kids and still somehow has time for me. Certainly not as much as she did before we had kids but I'm not running around on her. My theory is that sooner or later cheaters cheat no matter what. I've never (and probably never will) understand two things. 1. The people who cheat on their significant other and 2. The people they cheat with. If it doesn't bother you that someone is cheating on their S.O. with you, it might bother you that more than likely they are cheating on you with a third person.

          My wife explained this to me:

          Women are territorial, there is a reason they are compare themselves to cats;

          one of the reasons that some women find men married to other women attractive and exciting is that she is taking something away from someone else, sort of a power play.

          Many women are much more competitive with each other than men will ever be. Men choose what to compete over. Women on the otherhand, and I have seen this developing in my daughter, and with other young girls in my family, choose what not to compete for...

          So, if some man is a dog, there will likely be a line of women who choose to boost their self esteem through the taking of another's property.

          and yes. I do happily believe that LOML owns me, and I gladly submit to this ownership, and will never violate it, I said so much in front of her and God

            The other womens' motivations, although obvious, are irrelevant. Tiger was not thinking with the proper organ. It's on him... And what is he thinking with a total biscuit like Elin waiting at home, anyway? Kinda hearkens back to that whole Hugh Grant/Elizabeth Hurley thing (although Tiger sure set his sights a bit higher... )

              Yeah there is that - I've seen that in action. As I recall I was never more interesting to women as when I started dating my wife. I had to fly to CA two weeks before we got married. I got a week's membership at a gym near my hotel. The PYT behind the counter was there the first two days I went in. She seemed to be flirting so I took pains to complain about being there so close to my wedding. All it did was encourage her - the next day was a Friday and she offered to take me to dinner and 'dessert'. I declined, turned around and left.

                What heights...waitresses? Lord, I Apologize To the Starving Pygmies Down There in New Guinea…

                Not meaning to malign waitresses, or waitressing as a profession, or any waitresses reading this, but they can do better than Tiger. I apologize in advance if any waitress anywhere in the world was offended.

                  Well, at least any one of those waitresses is a huge improvement over that Foxy Brown, or whatever her name was...

                    Don't get me wrong. I take a really dim view of cheating and cheats. There's NO excuse.
