The Christmas Tree Is Up

We went and got it today. I grew up doing the choose and cut. A couple years ago we finally found a place down here that does it and grows a decent tree. The weather is not conducive for it locally. Most of the farms are in the mountains, a 3+hr drive. I will be redecorating it in a bit. The kids helped so most of the ornaments are on the bottom 1/3 of the tree.

That reminds me.....need to watch Christmas vacation.

We put ours up on Friday. We used to do the live tree, but a couple of the kiddos have pretty bad allergies, and while the tree doesn't aggravate it too severely, it doesn't help any, so we switched to the fake ones. on the upside, pre-lit rocks!!! Stringing lights is my least favorite part.
