    Persistence Pays Off

We've lived in this house for 4 years and just about every morning when I take the dogs out, one of them barrels out the door trying to catch a tree rat. It is a good 40' to the nearest tree from the door and the squirrels usually get there first, so she never has caught one, until this morning. She was not happy that I took it away from her and more than likely tomorrow morning will try even harder.

If you use the same one each day it'll get easier for her.

As long as it's a female.

Too late. Squirrel is already gone. As I expected though, she has redoubled her efforts.

It's not that bad with a little salt and garlic.
