Happy Thanksgiving to all. Hope in this desperate time we all can find at least one thing to be thankful for no matter how small.

I have finished all of LOML's honeydo's and am ready to start relaxing. Go to church tonight, come home watch the King's and then start preparing for the Bird and family. For once we got a good headstart and are prepared, Bird goes in a Noon tomorrow and we eat at 5pm.

Hoping each one of the BT3 family is blessed on this day of thanksgiving.

My youngest and his girlfriend will be here with us, and the oldest is coming by later for pie. I will be baking pies tonight. 2 chocolate meringe and 3 pecan. I was in the store talking to another customer while one of the employees was restocking pecans. He said pecan was his favorite pie and I could make him one, too. The third one is for him.....

I told her not to do it.

I told her not to do it. LOML said she was going to clean the oven before baking the pie. Our oven has a very long clean cycle due to a safety relay that won't open until the oven is COMPLETELY cooled down. It is a very efficient oven featuring heat retention. The safety circuit locks the oven door. Disconnecting the power to the control circuit has no effect.
I will be doing the bird (pheasant this year) on the BBQ rotisserie. Everything except the pie can be done on the stove top, which can be lit with a match as the auto lighter is shut down. I might get pie about midnight.
                        regards,
                        Charlie
