I thought about it and still might, but I have to drive to Sacramento tomorrow and the thought of doing it again on Saturday is not appealing.

BIL and I are going on Friday Afternoon and maybe Saturday. It is downtown at the convention center because CALEXPO is booked for the International Auto Show. At least down town there are places to eat and cheaper parking on the weekends. We will probably take Light Rail as it get close and no parking problems, We are interested in some of talks and demos. CraftSupply is going to be there so might stock up on Pen Turning supplies and some other stuff depending on what they have. The show in the spring wasn't that great due to the Economy will see how it is this time.

Show was ok. Spen about $120. 65 on pen kits and blanks at CSUSA. The rest on small stuff at Peachtree supply. Sping clamps, painte triangels Clamps for dust collector hose. and Sham Wow with mop for LOML $22. Watched the Heavey Brothers each give very informative classes on Refurbishing kitchen Cabinets and making your "shop ship shape" They did have a book store this time but no big machinery displays. Just a local machinery company with Saw Stop, Powermatic, Jet and PC tools. According to Jim Heavy the economy has takeen it's toll on the Woodworking shows thus a smaller venue and less big stuff. We will be going back tomorrow for the rest of "Ship Shape Shop" and Kitchen Cabinet refurbishing and the cabinet making demo by Sommerfeld's Tools, the do some nice things with their Route bits and jigs, BIL is a big fan and purhcaser. Let him buy and then I can borrow when I need to. Had a good time with BIL. I need to go by Cook's Hardwood and pick some Pen blanks, they have a good slection this time. Will take Light Rail down to save on Parking and eat lunch before we go. BIL is a very accomplished woodworker so can't give him a bad time about his tool purchases as he uses them.
