My conclusions -- OSB requires a drum sander if one is going to use it in any semi-serious WW application. Also, it will require some sort of sanding sealer to hold all the wanna-flake-off bits in place. Then more sanding! Thinned varnish? Anyone tried a finish on OSB?
I wouldn't use OSB for any 'woodworking' or 'cabinetmaking' project. The surface is treated for moisture. Once sanded or perforated the board is subject to moisture and moisture vapors.

I have a friend that lined his walls and floor in a shed he built. I tried to talk him out of using that material, but his budjet spoke for him. I have serious doubts that the floor will hold up. He hasn't used it much as of yet.
