Cool, Bill. I'm sure you'll have a great time. I've been to the islands quite a few times and never had a bad experience....to our forum friends in Hawaii. Sounds like a great time. I was in Honolulu and Hilo in September--on work, unfortunately, but I did have time to barely dip my toes in the waters of Waikiki.

ALERT: Many Pictures!
Thanks for all the well-wishes, guys.
The week spent in Kona was, well - awesome! It was painful to get on the plane to come home.
And the WW'ing Art exhibit in Hilo was smaller than anticipated, but still very cool. I'm including some photos - the work was done in native woods (Koa, Mango, Plumeria, Macadamia, Ohia, Kiawe, to name a few.) I brought home a couple pieces of Koa (~$24/bf), and one of Kiawe (~23/bf), to play with.
Enjoy.Last edited by Bill in Buena Park; 10-16-2009, 06:43 PM.Bill in Buena ParkComment
