    Just sitting here

I was just sitting here ready the forum and doing some basic day dreaming about table saws and such when a rafter of turkeys walked right by my window.

This is the largest group that I've seen this fall. I counted 17 that were out there, think I only got 15 in the picture.

Guess I should include the picture.

          A 'rafter of turkeys' huh!
          Never heard that one before.
Where, may I ask, did such a saying come from?
Why doesn't the word 'planing' show up in my computer spell check?

Yeah, no idea where rafter came from, had to look it up because I knew someone would tell me that it wasn't a group/herd/pod/rafter/whatever of turkeys if I called it something else.

About 45 minutes after that group/herd/pod/rafter/whatever of turkeys left, I had my frequent visitor turkeys come in. There's only five in that bunch.

Well, if you could get them to jump on the trampoline it would make an even more interesting picture.
