    Applying for a Grant?

I heard on the radio this morning that "approximately half of American familys' that do not dine together, use tobacco products and/or marijuana".
    That got me thinking,,,,,,,,,,
If a grant was issued for this study, then how about getting a grant myself?
It is my opinion that at least 83%, or possibly more, of the truckers in my area that do not buy their maintenance supplies and/or parts from me, are buying them elsewhere.
What do you think,,,,,, can I get a grant for this study?
Do like you always do,,,,,,Get what you always get!!

If they can give some guy a grant to study bird strikes by firing chickens from a cannon at junk airplane windows, then you can probably get a grant for practically anything. I've heard the real trick is navigating the bureaucratic red tape and the gauntlet of people with their hands out under the table, and still emerge with enough money to do what you set out to do...

How right! Getting a grant for about ANYTHING is correct; EXCEPT be prepared to do a ton of paperwork and then when granted be prepared to be in bed with the agency granting the money. I went through this when I wrote a grant to restore our 18th century court house. In the end it was worth it but boy what a hassle!
