    What would you do?

So a while ago I joined Facebook. I've since friended lots of folks that I went to school with and others I know now, as well as some I just recently met playing Farm Town, go figure! Today as I was scanning through the status updates I see a familiar name in reply to one of my brothers' posts. Had to do a double take. I've known for years that he and his wife have kept in touch with one of my ex girlfriends from my long gone college days. Sure 'nuff it was her. Our breakup , years err decades ago was not exactly a nice one. What would you do? Would you invite an Ex's friendship?

I think a lot of my decision would be derived from Mrs. Walnut. My wife wouldnt take to the thought at all.
I think therefore I .....awwww where is that remote.

Yes but... I never really had a "bad" break-up. Ambivalent ones where I wouldn't bother, and one's where we're still friends (and they're friends with my wife)...

Why not? Plenty of water under the bridge since then.

I already am friends with an ex. She sent me a friend request about a month ago. It was a bad breakup and almost 15 years ago, so I figured why not? Besides she is married herself.

Like any decision, you should weigh what you gain from what you risk. How many friends do you need? My opinion: Leave it alone. Some things are just best left undisturbed.

How much do you care? Just because you see someone on Facebook doesn't mean you have to connect with them.

Me personally, I'd just let the past be the past unless I had a really compelling reason to do otherwise. I've got enough annoyances in my life without inviting more.

I don't think I'd touch it with a ten foot pole. My wife wouldn't have a problem with it, but I don't think it's a good idea.

Sounds like he remained friends with her, so she knows how to connect to YOU if she so chooses. As the Beatles sang, "Speaking words of wisdom, let it be"!
She couldn't tell the difference between the escape pod, and the bathroom. We had to go back for her.........................Twice.

I think I'd tweat my twitterdomain for expert guidance. Then I'd text my BFF for personal insight. Then I'd blog my reflections on the matter.

Then I'd have a complete effing conniption fit over all these new social interactions that require an old dog to learn new ways of dealing with an already too-complicated world.

Anyhoo, it was decades ago. She's probably grown up some in that time, too. It sounds like it can't hurt to contact her. Your relationship with her can't get any worse, can it? Unless, of course, she's off her meds and obsessing about your vile Mark-ness.

Is she hot? That would certainly make the decision simpler.

Oh, I forgot mention, it would be helpful to find any video of you and the woman in question, especially if it shows you "en flagrante". It could be posted on YouTube if the the whole thing goes sour.

So did that make her Adrian Barbeau? (spelling may not be correct)
