    The movie "The Soloist"

Has anyone seen the movie "The Soloist" http://www.ropeofsilicon.com/movie/soloist/review/782 ? It seems to be a very interesting true story. The reviews I've seen online tend to give it decent marks, but nothing extraordinary. Our library system has 12 copies, and they're all out at this time. I think I'll pick up a copy because the story sounds like it will keep my attention. If you've seen it, what was your impression?

It was okay, maybe a 6 or 6.5/10. Nothing that great.

If you can reserve movies, I'd reserve Watchmen. I really enjoyed that one.

We saw it last weekend and I think it is an OK movie, not super great, but ok. It was interesting to see the extra features and the interview with the real persons, and I was shocked to learn that there are 80.000 (I think it is) homeless in Los Angeles.

Saw it a couple of weeks ago too, and agree with the others. Good to very good movie...well worth a view, but not a super movie. It's from a similar genre as Mr. Holland's Opus, and August Rush, both of which I really enjoyed....realistic or not, I'm just a sap for a feel good movie with a happy ending.
