    Ooops!!!

The August issue of Road & Track had an article titled "Watch out Danica". It was about Gabby Chaves doing so well in the Formula BMW Championship. The article went on to say she received some corporate sponsorship.

Well, In the October issue, they printed a CORRECTION that Gabby Chaves is a male driver.

Named after Gabby Hayes, no doubt.

Typical example of no research/no editing journalism.

No doubt Gabby Chaves' crew is going to have some fun with this. I know I would.

You're probably right. Although quick research may appear that it could be hard to tell. See what you think.

I suppose so, if you didn't know anything about the, uhhh... guy. But if tasked as a professional journalist to write an article, you'd think your research might turn up a few clues, or encounter someone who could clear up the "mystery".
