Here's another random question I hope you all can help with.
I have an old "portable" reel-to-reel machine (1960's) with some tapes I'd like to record into the computer. There's a "radio/phono" socket that appears to be a 5-pin DIN. There's also a round 2-pin jack for "earphone/speaker" but I don't have a connector that looks like that one.
I can sacrifice an old MIDI cable and a mini audio jack to make a cable, but I wouldn't know what to do after I cut them.
Any ideas?
