    Real "Mad Men" crazier than TV

    Hmmm. I was born a decade or 2 too late. I think everybody made out like bandits in that era. Doctors included--smoking, heavy drinking, fooling around with the nurses. They dressed a lot better in those days too.

      Man, I miss the white uniforms with the white stockings with the seams in the back and the little triangular hats (on the nurses, I mean)...

      I don't miss the smoky patient rooms and doctors' lounges.
