    I'm old----and youtube's got it

For some strange reason, I was thinking about music during my high school days. Does anyone remember Homer and Jethro? Yes, youtube's got it. In fact they have several of them. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AqYuF...om=PL&index=92 .

Youtube ranks right up there with the wheel and canned beer. I found a video on Youtube that showed me how to set the valves on my Briggs and Stratton lawn mower engine that saved me a trip to the repair shop (and some bucks as well)

How about this gem from Dickie Goodman "On Campus"?

Had it on vinyl back in 1969, when we thought it was the funniest thing around.

And then he was back in 1974 for the energy crisis:

        And for the Jaws phenomenon:

Hey I still have couple of 45's with Bill Halley and Comets and "Rock Around The Clock" and the "Purple People", and the good ole "Alley OOp" My sister has the rest of our collection. There are probably 150 45's and 100 78's and a bunch of 33 1/3 laying around. I even have couple of Glenn Miller Albums, the oiginal ones. How about some Spike Jones?

Do you still have something to play the 78s on? I once had an old wind up Victrola, and we really had some good times playing the old ones.

I still have a turntable, a reel to reel, and cassette deck. Been trying to convert all my music to the computer.

Have an ofl Gerrard Turntable. Replace the cartridge and belt a few years and it work fine. we are trying to get them on CD/dvd. They are fun to listen to. Next year is the 50 anniversary of my high school graduation the music should be fun.
