    The Gardeners Came Today

We have 6 to 10 of them that show up a couple times a week. Can't figure out how to tell them what no to eat though.

That's some crew you got there. I suggest just let them work instinctively. At least they are affordable.

I think there are commercially marketed repellents that you can use on the off-limits plants, but you run the risk that they won't stop by at all if you use them. I think the repellents are formulated from the musk and urinary scents of predatory animals, like wolves.

I have a herd of about 50 in near-bu wooded areas. In my mind they are varmints and pests the same as squirels and possoms. I think I should have the right to kill them to protect my property and trees. Unfortunately, the state doesn't agree.

Ther eis a large apartment complex being built across the tracks to the north of my place. With a bit of luck the deer will move further away. Down side is the apts are rent subsidised. I mitght prefer the deer as neighbors!

I feed the deer here for about 10 years now. They walk through the vegtable garden to get to the corn. The garden has been untouched during that whole time period.

I would sooner have the deer than some of the alternatives..

They're not good gardeners who help with weeding, etc. They only come around during harvest time.

We have a lot of deer here in the Texas Hill Country. Makes it difficult to do any kind of landscaping.

Most of the nurserys have a list of plants that are 'deer resistant'. Only problem is, the deer can't read.

I have a little basset hound that would love to come play with your gardeners, I'm sure they would enjoy her company as well. If you have any miniature gardeners (rabbits) she likes those even more. I have to be careful when walking her there are a lot of rabbits in the hood and she will darn near yank your arm out of the socket when she catches one's scent.
I think therefore I .....awwww where is that remote.
