I'm not sure if that is supposed to be eye protection or he doesn't want sawdust in his hair?

True, but more so because of the skin infection the snake is likely to get. Do you know how hard it is to cure a snake of skin infections?

Agree. We had an 2 yr old killed here in the last couple weeks by a python.
