One that is used by multiple teams, and for years I didn't know who did it, is Sirius, by the Allen Parsons project.
When RARELY heard on the radio, they start with that, and go into the Eye in the Sky.She couldn't tell the difference between the escape pod, and the bathroom. We had to go back for her.........................Twice. -

I saw the Globetrotters back in the 70's with Meadowlark Lemon and Curly and all those classic guys. One of the highlights of my childhood.Jeff

Not quite a sports team, but closely related: Dixie, Salvation is Created and Quilting Party will always remind me of The Marching Southerners of Jacksonville State, in J'ville, AL.

BESIDES SPORTS, what other songs spring to mind that you heard when famous events happened?
