The Quickest Way To Find Something

is to buy another of whatever it is you are looking for. A couple years ago we went to a pool party at my aunt's and when we got home, our Canon camera was missing. We went back and looked and also called my uncle who hadn't seen it. After looking all over the house for a week, I bought a Nikon off CL. A day later, my uncle called. They had the camera. It seems a friend of another guest thought he was being helpful and stuck the camera into that guest's bag (they have the same model camera). Fast forward to a few months ago and I wanted to sell the Nikon except I couldn't find the charger. I looked all over the house off and on before giving up. With the problems the Canon is having I decided to buy a new charger for the Nikon. Ordered it last night, then went to brush my teeth. We have a shelf above the toilet with a bowl full of brick-a-brack. I walk past that bowl all the time but this time I wondered what the electrical cord sticking out of it was.

The chief cause of failure in this life is giving up what you want most for what you want at the moment.

I lost a few items over the last 2 or 3 weeks. So far I found 2, found a few others I forgot I owned and am still missing 1. How do you loose a 50" clamping straight edge/guide??
