    Lumber Yard Experience

I needed some Baltic Birch for a project and none was to be found here in Sequim so I drove to Port Townsand and shopped here www.edensaw.com
Wow! I have been in a lot of lumber yards but I have never seen a warehouse as large as theirs and packed with woods you only dream about.

I know what you mean. There are several very large hardwood distributors in my area. With all the marine industries/boatyards and cabinet shops in the area, the sources of supply are plentiful. A few of the lumber and hardwood plywood distributors are awesome. Sometimes I just like to roam around and drool.

Got a place near here that specializes in exotic boards and turning stock from South America and Asia... It's like a candy store, and I always leave my charge cards at home, lest I die...

We've got a lumber yard like that here in Central Michigan. Barn Door Lumber, Merrill, Michigan. A little bit of lumber heaven!
