      Great video. The first mosquito's built didn't initially have defensive weapons since nothing at the time could touch them.The crews were a little nervous about this so the design was changed to include some guns.

        that was great, but it makes me want to go and get the lindsay books copy of welding aluminum with oxy-acetylene.... got some tube to weld together

            What a tremendous airplane and a triumph of engineering and "out of the box" thinking. I've read they could absorb more damage than an all-metal airplane due to the thicker cross section (yet lighter weight) of the structural members.
