Well, is it any wonder? Given that BT3Central is turning into another Twitter?
I think I know what you mean. I've been a member here, on and off, for 6 years. Back when I started, pretty much everybody here used a BT3x saw and the vast majority of the discussion was about woodworking, with the focus being on the BT3x saw.
I came back from one of my "off" periods and started actively following these forums again a few months ago, and noticed the following changes: a) Most of the regulars no longer use a BT3 saw. Not surprising, I guess, since they haven't been sold for a few years, and people have 'upgraded'. But kind of ironic nonetheless. b) The ratio of woodworking/other topics is much lower. Now I don't mind the "off-topic" posts and they're almost always in the correct forum. And I'm not even sure there's more of them than there used to be. It's just that there are less of the woodworking-related stuff around. Again, ironic at a woodworking site...
