IE8 Question - Black toolbar

I have been running IE8 for several months and no problems.

For some reason, the toolbar is black and you cannot see the selections. You can move the mouse over it and select 'favorites' and so on. I have done a little searching but can't find anything to make it visable, short of deinstall/reinstall.

Any other ideas?

I think you mean the Menu rather than the toolbar? If you do a google search on "IE8 black menu" you'll get a bunch of results. Here's one link to MS that seemed to fix the problem for some folks:
