    A Disaster Averted

I went to Lowes tonight to lay in the concrete and timbers for tomorrow. I got out of the van and noticed that one of the wheels on the trailer had some severe toe-in. At first I thought it was a bent axle, but looking at it I saw that the cap over the bearings was gone, the outer bearing was gone and the part of the hub that the bearings sit in was cracked and about half was missing. I guess it happened on the way to or from the dump last weekend. I'm just glad I caught it before I loaded it with 600lbs of concrete.

I went and got my dad's truck to get the supplies. Tomorrow I will call around and try to find a new hub.
