know where to get RF transparent (CDMA) heat syncs?

    Got a problem

when I use my bluetooth headset, and stream pandora to my Touch Pro it gets so hot that the battery stops charging, and my phone starts running out of juice...

So, I snagged one of our copper block processor heat syncs from my build lab... but when I place the phone on top of it, I get no signal

I figure that the heat sync is effectively blocking all radio to my phone

I need a heat sync material that is RF transparent

    anyone got any ideas?

Will an aluminum one work? Maybe something with a heat pipe, but I don't think you'll get good contact for it to work.

Maybe a cooling device, like a phone holder with some airflow would do it?

We used to use silicone pads under our power transistors and regulators. They were electrically insulating and heat conducting. A guess is that they would not block the RF.
