Ok... so my FIL's setup is a laptop running XP with a wireless router/print server. The printer is hung off the router via USB and the laptop connects to it via networked printer URL. The problem is there are several ghost jobs stuck in the printer queue. I checked the spooler directory, there are no files listed so there is nothing to delete. If I try to cancel the jobs, Windows says it could not execute the command. The jobs have no titles, size, pages etc. I tried deleting the printer and reconnecting but they are still there. Is there anything else I can try? I think I fixed this for him last year but can't remember what I did.

I remember that post - déjà vu all over again! I had to check the date on this because I thought it was the post from last year.
Last year, you cut the printer off and the wireless spooler IIRC. I get the same problem on occasion and if I don't cut both off, it seems to stay stuck in the usb wire between the spooler and the printer.

Hmm.... I will have him try that Lee. I went searching for the post. I thought I asked about it but couldn't find it. Sometimes I forget that Sam doesn't dump posts. Most of the other forums I am on they delete OT posts after a week or so.David
