When do you know your kid is too addicted to video games?

Am I the only one who noticed that all the wood in his room is stained the EXACT same color?

Was I the only one admiring the raised panel doors?

I think it is fake. My parents fostered several troubled kids and I've seen them when they are hysterical and out of control. This kid did not act like that.

I think it looks a little too intense to be fake. I have seen many "spoiled" kids and although intense, seems pretty on key.

All of the hysterical kids my parents had would fall down on the floor. They more or less lost control of their large motor skills except to thrash around. Certainly they did not do anything that required as much thought as opening a door and closing it or trying to stick something up you-know-where.

So... it might be intense, but I still think it is fake. The real hysterical kids also did a lot more screaming.

                    (1) I agree it is fake.

                    (2) I think the remote control thing was a mistake that will come back to haunt him for years to come.
