Have a hard time putting him in the same category with MJ, except for the age thing. Mr. Mays lived locally here in Tampa, and was a real stand-up guy. He was even aware of how ridiculous his pitch was, but said it worked for him, and his customers had come to expect it.

Billy's pitches were not my style but apparently they were effective.

Billy Mays, the businessman, however, is someone I admire.
