She Actually Wanted To Go!

We were out for dinner last night when my oldest daughter asked if we were close to a Home Depot. When I told her there was one a few blocks away, she asked if we could stop there on the way home. I wasn't going to argue, and a few minutes after we left the restaurant, we were pulling into the parking lot. She spent some time in the paint section then wandered through the tools and lumber with me.

And it wasn't even a dream....it really happened!

My kids refuse to go to HD with me. They say I read all the labels, etc.. I just want to see what is available for a future project. I envy you. You raised em right.

Several years ago, I learned a few months after the fact that my middle daughter logged on here, became a member under an alias, and asked what would be a good father's day present. The folks here gave some good suggestions.

HD is my My 3 1/2 year old daughters favorite store.
The highlight of her weekend is when we all pile into the truck and drive into town to go there. I have no idea why, but she loves it, I think it is because of the race car carts.

Those race car carts are great! My daughter doesn't mine going if she can ride in one of those. I sometimes pick which store to go to based on which ones have those carts.
