Thanks for the compliment. I'm no photographer...just rotated the little dial to "auto" and tried to hold the camera still. I think I caught him in a state of revealing total arrogance. I know they are relatively harmless, but I did get a temporary rush outside once when out of nowhere he, or one of his buddies just ran straight at me. Man o man, they are fast runners.
At about 18" long and headed straight for ya, makes ya do the bumble bee/wasp dance. You know the one. That's the one that if a neighbor sees you do it, they call mental health on ya.

He's looking good. If you want to, you could feed him a few soft fruit chunks like fruit cocktail. They are not helping with the bug population. They only eat incidental bugs. Wrong place at the wrong time if one happens to be on the leaf he's eating. They are fast. It's likely he may have ran right between your legs and kept on going. We didn't have any that bit, but they are very adept with that tail. They can crack it like a whip. Our first was about this long and was resting on the back of the couch. The cat jumped up on the couch and just looked at him. Spot just popped him right on the end of his nose with that tail lightning fast with a loud pop. Sounded like the showers when we were cracking towels in school. That was the last time that cat was at all curious about spot.
