Come On In, The Water's Fine!

Well almost. I got the pool up late this year and have been filling it the last few days. The pump is on and circulating, I added the pH balancer and metal-out today. The stabilizer is also slowly dissolving. I will wait till the morning then shock it and see if the metal-out did its job. Last season the same brand that worked the first season didn't work. I got what worked last season but we will see. I need to vacuum already too. 3 t-storms this week meant a lot of crap in the pool. I skimmed out as much as I could but there is still stuff on the bottom.

BTW, for anybody having problems with a pool, check out troublefreepool.com. The first season I had the pool they helped me clear up a nasty algae problem in about a week and I'd been trying for a month.

The chief cause of failure in this life is giving up what you want most for what you want at the moment.

I just got my suit on, then I find out it's not quite ready. What a bummer!

I was going to make a comment about the 15,000 swimming holes around here being an easier choice, but they have worse water quality problems after storms than pools...
