    I'm not using an IR remote, I have a wireless keyboard and mouse that are working for now. Sorry :S

      Thanks Kris. I have one of those too and it works for now as well but my ultimate goal is to control everything with a remote. Not sure how plausible that is. Oh well I guess more googling for me.

        I bought the Gateway LX6810 at Bestbuy two weeks ago for $800 including a 19"HD monitor and "free" cannon allinone printer.

        8G Ram, 1G dedicated video ram. Full size case. TV tuner and PVR (Windows media center).

        Seems ok so far.

        PC builder friends could not build a machine for this price.
