    RIP Peter Zezel

I went to high school with Peter Zezel. I always thought it fantastic that one of our own graduating class members suceeded to so much. When I heard about Peter's passing this morning, I ended up distracted most of the day reflecting on another life cut short.

Peter, there are a generation of hockey players who are better off because of you.

It's difficult dealing with the passing of relatives, friends and acquaintances. I receive the "deceased" list every time there was a high school reunion. Lost several friends in the military. It's a real hard nut to swallow.

      One of a Kind

Richard, Peter had a huge impact on me and many of my friends growing up in Philadelphia in the 80's. He was a rare person, always took time for the fans. I had the honor to speak to him many times out in public and he was an amazing person...
      Godspeed Peter

Just to close this thread, thank you for all the members who gave a thought about Peter's family and friends. Peter was laid to rest today in the neighbourhood that he grew up in.
