    Do You Remember Stompers?

    They were 4x4 cars, powered by a single AA battery. I took more than one apart and used the motor for something else. Anyway, here is a monster truck Smart Car. The Stompers is the first thing I thought of when I saw it:

      Between Stompers and Legos I'm not sure I played with any other toys.

          Yep, good fun. I had several Stompers and Rough Riders both. And a snap together articulating track/obstacle course.

          I was (not so) secretly happy our child was a boy as I'm looking forward to "helping" him with Xmas/B-Day toys that just happen to be similar to what I enjoyed growing up.

              I remember switching the foam tires around from truck to truck.

              I forgot about Stompers until your reminded me.
