Wait, I have some special honeydew melons around here somewhere. They've gotta be worth a fortune.

The last thing you want to hear about when it comes to melons, is deflation.

On my first trip (business-related) to Japan, we walked around the city of Kamakura for a few hours. One thing that struck me about the streetside fruit stands and the department store food halls was the quality of the produce. No blemishes, bruises or other defects. Only perfect specimens were on display. It was very different from what I was (and am) used to here. Of course, everything was very expensive, too.

Why not? I think that's a fine set of melons.

They are not the melons I was hoping to see.
