And he probably paid $399 for it at HD and may not aware that the price was lowered on latter models. Or.. when selling ask high as a catfish might come along and take the bait... if not he left room to negotiate down with the OBO as mentioned as everyone loves to think they talked the seller down and got the deal of their life.

If you ask what you really want.. no room for the potential buyer to talk you down so he or she can brag about how they talked you down. Ain't life grand?

At least it looks like it is in pretty decent shape. Does not look like it has been abused and it is clean looking.

I love some of the ads on Craigs list. Only used once and the cast iron top is a nice orange color and it looks like it has been dragged behind a truck for a while.

Considering what is on the market now for the home hobbiest, he might get his asking price. Assuming it is in as good of condition as it looks.
