check the specs. one of the items it shows is:

The CharGriller is made by a company in GA. The metal is much heavier than most of the others on the market.

I can't speak for the propane side but their charcoal grills are good. I have the Patio Pro model which is a grill made from the fire box used on the larger models. We also have one of their smoker grills at work.

I called them for info on that model I think they said the burners are cst iron instead of the stainless steel used by most others. Had I not found a good C/L deal on a Jenn Air, I would have bought the one you are looking at.

The biggest problems with most of the imported grills arethat the SS used is low grade/clad over a base metal and the models change every year so parts support is virtually non-existant.

I bought it about 3 weeks ago and have used it a number of times.

I added the side firebox to make it a Texas BBQ .

the gas side is the fastest hottest BBQ i have ever used It will bury the needle on the thermometer and burn off all the drippings in about 15 minutes. It has 3 burners in the area that most have 2. It is very even on the heat and the shape is more accommodating because it is deeper then most. I cooked 15 hamburgers on it at one time and could still turn them etc. without any problems.

The texas BBQ side is why I bought it in the first place as I have wanted to do indirect cooking for a long time. I have done chickens, ribs , and a bunch of turkey legs in it. I have found that it takes wayyyyyyyy longer to cook anything indirect but the taste and moisture level is better then any other way I have cooked. It also smokes items very well.

MY .02 worth I would deffinatly buy it again.
