Cell Phone Drying Time?
Mine fell off my belt and I only noticed it after I got inside to just beat the storm. I did a quick check in the rain and got soaked then went in, figuring the damage was done. After the rain stopped I found it. It seemed to work ok - it was face-down in the grass, not in a puddle and I have a hard plastic case on it. When I took the battery out the battery and battery compartment were dry. I figure that is a good sign.

Google cell phone drying. There are instructions that include packing the phone in rice to dry it out.

I dropped mine in the toilet. No No it was before I started...
I opened it up, blew out the water with compressed air. Then I put it in front of a fan, open, for a couple of hours. Viola, clean and working.

Best thing to do would be to immerse it into some alcohol (from your shop, not your bar!) around and wait for it to dry.

I'll tell you what not to do:
1. Do not put it in the dryer
2. Do not put it in the oven
3. Do not put it in the microwave
4. Do not put it in the toaster oven
5. Do not set it on the stove
6. Do not set it on the wood or coal stove
