I have seen this process in real life, not in the video. A vendor at woowdworking show made a smaller version of such deer right in front of me. It took him probably less than 2 min of cutting, no marking in advance. He must have done a thousand of deers practicing. Interestingly - except for size it was basically same figurine. What caught my attention - the guys seemed to have ignored rules of minimum radius. At least it seemed that way. I must say it does work as demonstration of blade quality. I do have a blade from this guy (Olson All-Pro).Alex VComment

Seriously, though, how is that done with without snapping the blade. With a 3/8" blade onboard I'm a huge chicken at making sharp angles(well, sharp for me at least)!Blessings,

that blade is at max 1/4" and you'll notice he gets the blade in a pretty good twist. with blades that small you don't really use any guides on the sides of the blade because you aren't really looking to cut straight lines.Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work. - Thomas EdisonComment
