    One More To The List

First there was the diverticulitus. Then it hit me again three months later. Twelve weeks ago I suffered a severe lumbar strain and I had it flare up twice more. I finally get to ok from my doctor to return to normal duties. Now I have pityriasis rosea. This is either a really bad 12 months or getting older really sucks! What's next?

Sorry to hear about your problems. For me this year was a torn tenon in my left hand, followed by the dreaded siatic nerve problem, followed by a torn miniscus in the right knee and now off to the perodontist. My doctor says it comes with having birthdays (a lot in my case) so he says not to worry until I stop having birthdays. Of course all my problems are over at that point.

I got that same rash 30 years ago, just showed up out of the blue. Lasted on and off for a month then went into hiding. Good luck hope you heal soon.

During my last physical, after reciting my list of aches and pains, my doctor said, "Well, J.D., it only gets worse!". This was just after my 62nd birthday.

My only solace is that I will always be 3 years younger than my doctor!

At 60 and my list of complaints - my doctor said to me: "If I could cure you, I could cure me"!

Richard, I have diverticulosis and was warned about it. But I still haven't stopped eating tasty foods or nuts. When it becomes necessary . . maybe . . . !

              Richard,

              Your warranty has run out.

If I talked about my health it would sound like a gloat. Well, I did have a headache, last year.

Unfortunately, 'having a really bad 12 months' and "getting older really sucks' are not mutually exclusive. I speak from experience.
